From 14 to 19 February, I had the opportunity to live the Erasmus+ project Our New Learning Innovative Network for Education in Málaga.

I never had the possibility to travelso, this was the first time visiting another country and discovering another culture. I was excited and now, after all, Im really glad to have had this possibility. Málaga will always have a place in my heart.

This trip started, on the first day, with the long travel from Italy to Spain. It was exhausting but, at the end, it worth it because I lived this wonderful experience.

On the second day we went to school and, there, we saw the presentation of the school and we did a fast class of basic Spanish. After that, we started to do our videos. In the afternoon, we left the school and we had a tour of the centre and the Cathedral of Malaga.

On the third day we went to the Roman Theatre and the Alcazaba, an ancient fortress made on a hill by the Arab. In the afternoon we went, instead, to Gibralfaro where we visited the castle and we had the chance to see a full panoramic view of the city.

On the fourth day, we woke up in the early morning and we left Málaga to go to Granada. Granada is another important city in the inner part of Andalusia, near the Sierra Nevada. There, in the morning, we visited the Alhambra, an ancient Arab residence, and in the afternoon, we visited Sacromonte, a hill where gitani live and where the flamenco was born.

On the fifth day, we went to school and we finished the videos. In the afternoon, instead, we visited the Botanic Garden of Málaga, rich in plants and trees. Around 5 p.m., we went to school again and we did the presentation of our videos. In the evening we did a little party with all the guys to celebrate this Erasmus.

On the sixth day, the saddest day of the trip, we left Málaga to come back to Italy. During this day I cried a lot because I didnt want to leave this wonderful city and, above all, my friends. But, in the end, I had to do it and I hope soon Ill see them again. Its never an adios, but an hasta luego.

The project was held from 14 to 19 February in Málaga, Spain. The first day was the arrival day for us Italians, Croatians, Portuguese and Turks. The second day, we went to school and we took some Spanish lessons and then we edited the video about HERITAGE AND DIGITAL LEARNING. Then, we had lunch with our host. In the afternoon, we visited the Centre and the Cathedral of Málaga. At the end of the day, we had some free time with our hosts families.

The third day, we went to school for the presentation of the video about our country and we saw the presentation of other countries. After this activity we went to see the Roman amphitheatre and Alcanzaba, then we went to have lunch with our hosts. After lunch, we went to see the Gibralfaro Castle and walked to the Mirador and, at the end of the day, we had some free time with our hosts families. On the fourth day, we took the bus and went to Granada and visited Alhambra (UNESCO world heritage). Then we had lunch with our hosts and, after that, we saw Sacromonte (UNESCO world heritage). Finally, we took the bus to Malaga and then stayed with the host families. On the fifth day, we took the bus and went to the Botanical Garden "Conception". After we went to have lunch with our hosts. In the afternoon we presented, our hosts and us, the video on the heritage sites. Finally in the evening, there was a little party at school. On Saturday, we came back to Italy.

The trip to Spain was special for me, not only because I met new friends and I spent fantastic time with them, but also because I was in another country for the first time. The city of Malaga is very beautiful. I also ate typical food such as: paella, churros, patatas bravas, tortilla de patatas etc. This experience has made me grow a lot both from the cultural point of view, but also as a person. Finally, I would like to thank the teachers (Perillo and Di Corrado).

From 14 to 19 February, I participated at the Erasmus+ project Our New Learning Innovative Network for Education in the city of Malaga, Spain. The opportunity to participate in an experience like this is already a great personal satisfaction, because it gives you the opportunity to visit a nation different from yours, knowing a new culture, new traditions, gives you the opportunity to eat new food, but, above all, to know and forge relationships with guys of our age. The importance of this project is, for me, to establish new friendships but, at the same time, enrich our cultural background always bringing with us a part of this journey.

The journey began on the 14th, with arrival in Malaga and accommodation at the hotel. On the second day we went to the school, which was the same one that Picasso attended at our age. Our fellow Spaniards welcomed us with much warmth and much hospitality. After a short Spanish lesson where we were taught the basics of communication in Spanish, we had a snack and could taste the churros, a typical Spanish dessert. After lunch we all visited the Cathedral of Malaga and then toured the city.

On the third day, after going to school, we visited the Roman theatre and the Alcanzaba where we saw the magnificent panorama of the city.

The fourth day we went to Granada by bus and although it was two hours of travel, we were not bored even a second. Granada is a beautiful city full of things to discover including the Alhambra and Sacromonte.

On the fifth day we went to school in the morning where we finished our videos about the presentation of the cathedral of Malaga and at lunch time, we went by bus to the Botanical Garden of Malaga, where we spent a beautiful afternoon in contact with nature. In the late afternoon we went back to school to present the videos made and, in the evening, there was a beautiful party where some guys performed with their talents.

The next day was the saddest day, as it was the day of the return home.

This experience has been wonderful and I will always carry it in my heart. This happened also thanks to the company that I had besides, that is my Italian friends, with whom I have established a wonderful relationship, Professors Rosanna Perillo and Stefania Di Corrado who have been a point of reference but also of fun throughout the trip and thanks to the friends I met in Malaga. Malaga will always have a piece of my heart with it.

From 14 to 19 February, I had the opportunity to live the Erasmus+ project Our New Learning Innovative Network for Education in MÁLAGA.

I have always dreamed of going on a trip to Spain, especially an experience like that of the Erasmus because it allows you to make new acquaintances and increase your cultural background, practicing the Spanish and English language and visiting the fantastic resources present; Of great effect were the huge beaches of Nerja, the beach of Málaga called the "Malagueta", the natural environments such as that of the botanical garden and palm groves. The fantastic nearby cities, Ronda and Granada (where we visited the historic Alhambra, UNESCO site). We stayed in Málaga, at the Sercotel Tribuna, in the centre... In no time on feet, you could reach the streets with shops where you can buy typical products such as nougat or hams and restaurants where you can taste typical dishes such as empanadas, paella de marisco or de verduras, tapas, bocadillos, churros. Spain is a land rich in music, scents, colours, folklore, street artists, joy and warmth... Not only that of the sun, but that of the people who live there! The family who welcomed me was helpful and kind, they made me taste the typical dishes and made me visit the city of Benamaldena! I met wonderful people who took care of me and made me feel part of a group. Our meeting was magical and brought so much happiness, to sing out loud and dance to the rhythm. My group was gorgeous, compact and with a unique team spirit, I am proud to have travelled with them, they were irreplaceable travel companions, along with our professors Perillo and Di Corrado. The words that best describe this Erasmus are: Friendships and Smiles. A journey that I will carry forever in my heart as the people who participated in it.
