Trip to Bulgaria: The Journal   We, Joana, Clara, Bruno and Tomás within the Erasmus project, embraced the new adventure that was going to Bulgaria, meeting up and making activities with students from four other countries: Croatia, Turkey, Italy and Spain.   Day 1: We were welcomed at the Ivan Vazov School by the headmistress, accompanied by two students dressed up with traditional folklore costumes, who brought us a typical sweet to try, Pitka. Afterwards, each country participants presented their country, city and school and the Bulgarian students prepared a quiz about their culture for the rest of us to play. We got to meet our hosts and, later on, we explored the nature and the beautiful landscapes of the town, an old chapel and the house of the most famous Bulgarian writer, Ivan Vazov. We ended our first day having dinner in our host's houses. Day 2: We started the day at the school listening to a lecture about Online Security and then every group proceeded to pres

  Erasmus+ experience in Bulgaria - by the Spanish team   This year, our school participated in an Erasmus project called Erasmus+ whose participants were from 6 countries (Italy, Bulgaria, Croacia, Turkey, Portugal and Spain). It was our school’s first Erasmus experience and mine too. It consists basically of an exchange of students to Bulgaria school, with activities about Safety on the Net.   It was incredible, we met amazing people from other countries; therefore we had to speak in English - we also learned a little bit of Portuguese and Italian. In the days that we were there, we were visiting beautiful places like ancient rocks and a cave. In addition, we were having traditional meals in our host’s houses.   O.N.L.I.N.E-   BULGARIA BULGARIAN TEAM HOSTING THE FIRST EXCHANGE We had the honour to be the first hosts in this Erasmus+ project and we were a bit worried at first if everything would go well but at the same time excited to be the first hosting country. Fortunately, it all went well and we hope our guests left our country with good impressions, nice memories and lasting friendship.
